A few words about what's paid for, and what isn't.

As a content creator, there are times I can earn a commission if you click or buy from a link I share. Those commissions help support the work I do, but they do not influence my opinion. My opinions will always be my own, and whenever I receive something free to review, you'll always know.

Here's how that works in practice. When I review a product that could earn me a commission, I say so in the video itself, out loud, not just in the description. That's my reading of the Federal Trade Commission rules, and it's also just how I'd want to be treated. Companies send me things now, and I don't say yes to everyone. A few products I've reviewed I could have been an affiliate for and chose not to, because they didn't hold up. If I feature something, I've assembled it, tested it, and used it in my own garden before I tell you what I think.
