FAQs about the Worx WG324 (from a Beginner):

Q: Is the Worx WG324 easy to use for someone who's never used a chainsaw before?

A: Absolutely! That's exactly why I got it. It's lightweight, battery-powered, and much less intimidating than a full-size chainsaw.

Q: How do you tension the chain on the Worx WG324?

A: It's actually pretty simple. I'll show you the whole process in the video, and I'll even share a tip I discovered for making it easier. Be sure the check out THE SOLUTION section.

Q: How often do you need to oil the chain?

A: Oil the pruning saw for every 10 minutes of use, more frequently if you are cutting harder woods.

Q: What kind of oil do you use?

A: Just regular bar and chain oil. You can find it at most hardware stores.

Q: What's the cutting capacity of the Worx WG324?

A: It can handle branches up to about 4 inches in diameter, which is perfect for most pruning tasks around the yard.

Q: Is it really tool-less chain replacement?

A: It's mostly tool-less, but you do need to use the screwdriver that's attached to the saw to make the final adjustments. I'll show you how it works in the video.

I'm growing on a 1/4 acre suburban lot. I started gardening here 5 years ago and am glad you are here.

We have more than 80 individual fruit trees and shrubs and more than a dozen different kinds of annuals growing on this property. The slopes make for some interesting ways to garden, but we're trying to make the best of it.

On the first Sunday evening of each month (7PM Eastern), I go live on YouTube sharing updates and answering your questions.
