I Met Kevin From Epic Gardening and Got Epic Advice for New Gardeners

November 7, 2023 by Michelle Leave a Comment

If you're a fan of the @epicgardening and @epichomesteading channels, you know Kevin. He and the Epic Team were nice enough to help me plan a visit to the Epic Homestead.

Everyone I met was just great. They made me feel right at home, and it was super cool to see the Epic Homestead in person. I was surprised at how big the property was. I know we can see it in the videos, but it really is an EPIC place to teach the world to grow.

Kevin was a gracious host, and I had lots of fun wandering around the homestead; I even met a few of the ladies living the coop outside and snuck a peek at Craig Pucci Johnson, too.

From the Epic Gardening Website:

At Epic Gardening, we blend science and nature and put that knowledge in the palm of your hand. Our mission is to help 10,000,000 people around the world learn how to grow plants.

The YouTube Channel started in 2013, and for more than 10 years now, Kevin has been growing, sharing, and teaching more people how to grow their own food and create a more sustainable lifestyle.

Extra Thanks to Ian for manning the cameras so I could focus on being an interviewer.

I thought I'd ask Chat GPT about Epic Gardening, and here was the response:

The Epic Gardening YouTube channel is a popular channel hosted by Kevin Espiritu, where he provides gardening tips, tutorials, and advice to help people grow their own plants and gardens. Kevin covers a wide range of topics related to gardening, from indoor plants to outdoor gardening, and his videos are quite informative for gardening enthusiasts.

Well Done, Chat GPT, Well Done.

About Michelle In The Meadow

I'm growing on a 1/4 acre suburban lot. I started gardening here 4 years ago and am glad you are here.

We have more than 80 individual fruit trees and shrubs and more than a dozen different kinds of annuals growing on this property. The slopes make for some interesting ways to garden, but we're trying to make the best of it.

On the first Sunday evening of each month (7PM Eastern), I go live on YouTube sharing updates and answering your questions.

If you enjoyed this video, please give it a thumbs up and consider subscribing to follow along on all the happenings in my Northeast Florida Zone 9A Garden. Until next time, my friends, remember to drink plenty of water, wear high-quality sunscreen and have a fantastic day.
