In this video, let’s take the August 2023 garden tour of my imperfect garden in Northeast Florida, showcasing the various plants, trees, and beds, with a particular focus on the growth of bananas, sweet potato vines, taro, ginger, yams, peppers, and luffa plants, among others.
My garden includes a Subpod vermicomposting bin and benefits from a trellis of loofah plants providing shade and ensuring a cooler environment for the worms. On the other side of the garden, we’re testing a sonic repeller to deter animals from certain areas. In addition to the food plants, we have a pollinator bed with horsemint that is out of control.
