Epic Gardening Memorial Day Sale 2026: What’s On Sale & How to Save

March 23, 2026 by Michelle Leave a Comment

This post contains affiliate links — if you buy through them, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. I only recommend products I actually use in my own garden here in Northeast Florida. Using code MEADOW doesn't cost you a penny — it just tells Epic Gardening you came from me, and helps me keep making free content.

Good news — Epic Gardening has run a Memorial Day sale every year for the last several years, and 2026 is almost certainly no exception. It's the deepest gardening discount window between now and Black Friday. Here's what I can tell you today, and what I'll update the minute the official dates and prices land.

The sale is LIVE now through May 28, 2026. Get 40% off all Birdies metal raised garden beds plus 25–30% off seeds, live plants, and seed starting gear. Use code MEADOW at checkout to stack my additional 5% reader discount on top of sale pricing.

🔔 Get the alert when the 2026 sale goes live

I'll email you the second the prices drop, plus the specific Birdies beds worth grabbing this year.

🛒 Can't wait?

Use my reader code MEADOW year-round at Epic Gardening — it works today and will stack with the Memorial Day sale.

What to expect in the 2026 sale

The 2026 Epic Gardening Memorial Day Sale is live right now and runs through Thursday, May 28th. Here's exactly what's on sale:

Category Discount
Birdies metal raised beds 40% off
Seeds 25–30% off
Live plants 25–30% off
Seed starting gear 25–30% off

Your code MEADOW stacks on top of these prices for even more savings.

What I'd actually grab in the sale

I've been gardening with Epic Gardening gear for over four years, and by now I've built up a proper collection — Large Extra Tall Birdies beds I garden out of daily, a Tree Surround that transformed a useless patch of lawn into a lovely mailbox garden, a 2-pack of 2×2′s holding up my dragon fruit trellis, round beds waiting on soil, long beds full of fruit trees and native flowers, Epic Grow Bags growing citrus, and a stack of seed starting trays with seeds hardening off on the patio. So instead of picking one “best” bed, here's how I'd think about what to buy in the sale — based on what I actually own. Every link uses my reader code MEADOW at checkout.

1. The one bed I'd start (and stay) with → Birdies Large Extra Tall – CHEAPER THAN 2022!

If you're buying your first metal raised bed, this is the one I'd hand you — and it's the one I still reach for every day. I have several of them in my garden and my back thanks me every morning: zero bending, enough soil depth for tomatoes, carrots, potatoes, and anything deep-rooted, and the extra height makes harvest feel more like picking at a farm stand than crouching in the dirt. The paint has held and they've taken everything Florida weather throws at them without complaint. If you're only going to buy one bed this year, buy this one.

2. The specialty pick → Birdies Tree Surround

If you've got a mature tree in your yard and you've been wondering how on earth to plant around it without disturbing the roots — the Tree Surround is the answer. It's a ring-shaped bed that nestles around an existing tree so you can add shade-loving plants, flowers, or a living mulch zone without digging. Mine has turned a useless patch of lawn under the mail box into one of the prettiest spots in my garden.

3. The tiny-garden (or dragon fruit) pick → Birdies 2-pack of 2×2′ beds

These little 2×2s are one of the best values in the whole Birdies line — a matched pair at a price that's hard to argue with. I use mine as the base for my dragon fruit trellis and plants, where their small footprint is exactly right for a cactus that grows up, not out. They're also ideal for a balcony, a small patio, a narrow side yard, or anywhere you want a real raised bed without committing half the yard to it. If you've been telling yourself you don't have room for a raised garden, you probably do.

4. For potatoes and other unruly roots → Epic Grow Bags

Some plants just don't play nice in a shared bed. Potatoes spread. Sweet potatoes spread more. Jicama, ginger, turmeric — anything that makes a lot of root and likes to wander — does better in its own container, where you can contain the roots, mound the soil, and harvest without tearing apart half your bed. Epic Grow Bags are my answer for all of them. I've grown sweet potatoes in mine, and I also use them for my citrus trees because a bag is a lot easier to move than a pot when a cold snap is coming. They're heavy-duty fabric, not the flimsy kind that falls apart after one season.

Frequently asked questions

When does the Epic Gardening Memorial Day sale start in 2026?

The 2026 Epic Gardening Memorial Day Sale is live right now — it runs May 14 through May 28, 2026.

How much can I save on Birdies raised garden beds during Memorial Day?

All Birdies metal raised garden beds are 40% off during the Memorial Day sale. Your code MEADOW stacks on top for an additional 5% off.

Is there an Epic Gardening Memorial Day coupon code for 2026?

Yes — my reader code MEADOW works year-round at shop.epicgardening.com and stacks on top of Memorial Day sale pricing at checkout.

When does the Epic Gardening Memorial Day sale 2026 end?

The sale ends Thursday, May 28, 2026. Don't wait — that's this week.

What should I buy first if I'm starting my garden from scratch?

If you're building your first garden, I'd start with a single Birdies Large Extra Tall (the workhorse — my most-used bed), fill it with quality soil and compost, and grab a seed starter pack from Botanical Interests. One well-built bed that you actually plant and water produces more than three half-finished beds — add more next season.
